Let my experience in the Mobile real estate market help make your home selling and buying a seamless real estate experience!
I was born in Mobile Alabama and have lived my entire life in the Mobile surrounding area. I live in the Semmes Alabama real estate community. I am married with two sons. One in Afghanistan and one in Iraq .I have sold real estate in the Mobile Alabama real estate communities for 9 years. I play the piano at the Crawford Methodist Church and am a member of the National, State and Mobile REALTOR® Associations. I am a licensed real estate Associate Broker in the State of Alabama and part of a real estate relocation network.
In the City of Mobile as a child I walked the streets of Mobile during the Mardi Gras watching colorful floats and hear the voices of children and adults exulting the Mardi Gras Association float riders to throw them some candy and the famous "moonpie" or colorful Mardi Gras beads. You could hear the chant for blocks , moonpie, moonpie, moonpie. Tailgate parties at these Mardi Gras parades are common and very memorable. It is my overall knowledge of the area and these childhood memories of the Mobile Bay area that serve me today as your REALTOR®.
I could probably write volumes on the Mobile area with it's rich history both old and new. The Senior Bowl, Americas Junior Miss Pageant , U.S.S. Alabama Battleship Park and Bellingrath Gardens and Home and Bayfest being a few. And we'd be remiss if we failed to mention the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, one of the largest saltwater fishing tournaments in the world and the LPGA Championship held at the Magnolia Grove golf course.
As a small girl I have ran on the white sand beaches of Dauphin Island and Gulf Shores, Alabama with the white foam bubbles from the surf of the Gulf of Mexico bursting on my bare legs with my pant legs rolled up. I still do this today from time to time. I've watched the aspiring artist painting the famous and popular Sand Island Lighthouse just offshore of Dauphin Island.
My father and I fishing from the beaches and shores of Mobile Bay have stopped fishing for fear of the amount of fish we faced cleaning. We had our slow days as well where it was listening to my dad tell stories of the shallow draft rum and gun runners navigating between the barrier islands past the Union blockade. It was these days eating our modest packed lunch, watching the pelicans fly over the waters of a famous civil war naval battle that forged my love for the entire Mobile area. Boating up fresh water rivers and creeks that empty into Mobile Bay brings back memories of the scent of magnolias, the signature flower of the south and honey suckle on the creek banks, a scent that sticks with you and becomes part of the magic of Mobile County.
